The U.S.-Africa Trade Commission in collaboration with partners and stakeholders, organizes trade and investment missions to United States of America and several African countries. The high efficiency of such events makes them particularly popular in modern conditions of the international relations development. The goal of trade missions is to establish international business relationships through facilitating trade opportunities, creating joint ventures and strategic alliances between international businesses and domestic companies. Business people, who attend trade missions, are introduced both to the important business contacts and to well-placed government officials. A trade mission is a productive way in which countries or organizations seek out potential buyers and sellers.

USAfriTC organizes multiple trade missions and reverse trade missions each year in order to promote U.S.-Africa business and investment. While some of USAfriTC’s trade missions are sector-specific, a number of the organization’s delegations are of an exploratory nature, providing access to the region’s most promising markets.
